Welcome to my photo blog, aka "phog." Over the next year our goal is to visit many different hiking venues, in and outside our home state of Indiana. My regular hiking buddy and I are determined to bravely face the 4 seasons as they unfold in 2022, not letting the elements to deter us.
I am standing at the threshold of a birthday milestone and have recently heard that this is the youth of my old age. It's time to stop wasting time and to make the best of this opportunity I'm gifted with to enjoy the great outdoors by exploring new and exciting places. I am happy that you are joining me on the journey.

I welcome the opportunity to literally hike a mile or more with any of my friends or family willing to put up with my silliness, otherwise I welcome you to journey with me over the next year by following this blog as it unfolds with our adventures.

P.S. The bridge in the background is the bridge we took our engagement pictures on. We recently rediscovered it while visiting the Indy Art Museum.
